Los Angeles Television Experience (LATE) Program
Students in the Los Angeles Television Experience (LATE) Program spend the 13 week summer session in Los Angeles interning and taking a course on the film and TV industries' structure, processes and careers. Students learn about these industries via lectures, field trips and by speaking with and getting career advice from a wide range of industry members. (continued below) |

The students in the 2006 LATE Program had a chance to meet with Jay Leno, The Tonight Show talk show host, comedian, and television producer, after seeing the taping of The Tonight Show. Internships this summer were in local and network news (KCBS-TV and KABC-TV), post production (Renegade 83, John Corry Productions, Soap Box Productions, Toy Box Production), TV development, production, casting, film equipment (Kelsey Grammar’s Company: Gramnet, Dalsa Film Rental), and live theatre management (Garry Marshall's Falcon Theatre) companies.
